NARGS 2011 Annual Meeting, June 17-19
The 2011 NARGS annual meeting is now history. Thank you to all who helped in large and small ways to make things work out so well. I have received a large number of thank you letters and e-mails, and all, it seems, remarked on how warm and helpful all the volunteers were.
The Highberg’s garden was, as all who have seen it might imagine, a huge success, and admired by all. Patsy has invited us to visit on Tuesday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m. We will simply enjoy her gardens, but as a focus, we might also each try to think of some desirable late-season bloomers. If you have any plants to recommend, and can bring a photo or any information about the plants you are suggesting, we would add an educational element to the day that could prove valuable.
